Our Third Annual Founders' Symposium is a time for Hallmark Health to celebrate our considerable success in serving the healthcare needs of our communities over the past year. It is also a time for us to look to the future as we move towards a more uniform understanding of excellence in a time of change and transition.
Looking Ahead: Implications of Reform
Our guest speaker for our third Founders Symposium is James D. Bentley, Ph.D.
Jim spent 18 year with the American Hospital Association (AHA) where he was
responsible for strategic policy planning, workforce intiatives, disaster
preparedness and building better hospital-medical staff relationships.
Before joining the AHA, Jim spent 15 years with the Association of American
Jim has published in a wide variety of journals, including Health Affairs, The New
England Journal of Medicine and The Journal of the American Medical Association.
Jim earned his Ph.D. in Medical Care Organization from the University of Michigan and his B.A. in Health Facilities Management from Michigan State University.
