Education and Information
All of the center’s services are designed for disabled or older adults living in the community, with home-based support and health services to assist them. The services also provide respite care for busy families during the day. Participants return home safely in the evening.
Adult day health care is offered for any elder or disabled adult with medical, cognitive, or emotional conditions that require monitoring and treatment in a structured setting.
Hours of operation
Services are offered Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Schedules and transportation arrangements are decided on an individual basis. Some participants join us every day, while others come a few times per week. We will help you develop a schedule based on the needs and resources of your family.
The center’s services have been developed to help individuals and their families get the most value for their health care dollars. Self-pay participants and those eligible for Medicaid or State Home Care reimbursement are accepted at the Dutton Center. Transportation is provided for a separate fee.
Participants at the Dutton Center reside in the northern suburbs of Boston.
The Dutton Center is located at 1117 Main St. in Wakefield, MA. The site is easily accessible from Routes 28, 93, 128, and 1. Onsite parking is available.
