Dec. 1, 2011 – Hallmark Health Medical Associates today announced the addition of vascular surgeon Michael J. Naylor, MD to their Reading location, Hallmark Health Medical Center, 30 New Crossing Road. Dr. Naylor can be reached at 781-213-5173.
Dr. Naylor specializes in using minimally invasive surgical procedures to treat the veins and arteries of the lower extremities. Comprehensive testing is an essential component of Dr. Naylor’s approach, as he works to reveal underlying or potential health issues, in addition to more apparent conditions related to the vascular system.
His patient-care philosophy involves working with both patients and primary-care physicians to promote healthy lifestyle changes that contribute to vascular health. “I focus on the positive changes my patients make and show them how their changes reflect improvements in lab results and ultrasounds,” said Naylor. “When patients see those concrete results it encourages them to continue their efforts to be healthy.”
Dr. Naylor has been providing endovascular minimally invasive surgery in the Melrose area since 2006. Dr. Naylor was also in practice as a vascular surgeon at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC prior to returning to Massachusetts.
A resident of North Reading, Dr. Naylor earned his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He completed his general surgery residency and a vascular fellowship at Tufts - New England Medical Center in Boston.
