Our Vein Center Team
Leading the Vein Center team are two highly qualified interventional radiologists, Neil Denbow, MD, and Wayne Wivell, MD. Both physicians have extensive experience in treating venous disease.
Dr. Neil Denbow is a board-certified general radiologist with added qualifications in vascular and interventional radiology; and is a pioneer in the utilization of minimally invasive technology to treat varicose veins. He is one of the first eight interventional radiologists in the country to use what are now the standard treatments for varicose veins. He partnered with his colleagues to bring these new modalities to Yale University where he practiced for 10 years. He then went on to direct the Yale Vein Center before joining Hallmark Health. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures to treat both arterial and venous disease of the lower extremities.
Dr. Wayne Wivell serves as the Associate Chief for the Department of Radiology and Co-Medical Director of the Cardiac and Endovascular Center at Hallmark Health System. Dr. Wivell is a board-certified interventional radiologist, and has received a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He brings more than 22 years of venous disease experience, specializing in minimally invasive procedures to treat the veins and arteries of the lower extremities.
HHS Vein Center uses a team approach and focuses on coordination of your care. We pride ourselves on being able to see patients quickly, efficiently and most importantly coordinate care and treatment with our patient navigator as your partner in the process.
