Most likely, many people with hearing loss have become accustomed to ringing in their ears, or the faded words and sounds that are part of everyday life. Hearing disorders can come from trauma at birth, viral infections, genetics, loud noises, medications, or aging. Untreated hearing loss can have a devastating impact on family relations, work, and academic performance. Audiology Services can provide patients with treatment that can lead to better hearing and as a result, a better quality of life.
Treatment Focus
Our certified audiologist uses the most advanced equipment and sound suite to evaluate a patient's hearing ability, including the loudness at which a person begins to hear sounds and the ability to distinguish between sounds. After we assess the extent of any hearing loss and identify its source, we recommend an appropriate treatment program and follow up with the referring physician to ensure continuity of care for our patients.
In addition to evaluating and fitting hearing aids, we also help identify ways to reduce the impact of hearing loss in situations when it is difficult to communicate, such as a conversation in a crowded room.
Audiology Services also offers pediatric testing and services for infants (6 months and older), toddlers, and children, and can provide swim molds. In addition, we provide in-office minor hearing aid repairs and offer reasonable rates for major repairs completed by the manufacturer.
Insurance:
We accept most major health insurances, workers compensation claims for industrial accidents and motor vehicle accident cases. You will need a physician prescription for insurance coverage. Call any one of our locations for more information.
