Sheldon Randall, MD
Dr. Sheldon Randall, the Director of Bariatric Surgery Program, has earned the Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence Designation. He is a board-certified general surgeon. He completed his surgical internship and residency at an affiliate of Cornell Medical School at North Shore University Hospital in New York and a Harvard Research Fellowship in surgical nutrition/metabolism, critical care and bariatric surgery at BI Deaconess Hospital in Boston.
Dr. Randall was formerly an instructor at Harvard Medical School and currently remains an instructor at Tufts School of Medicine. He has written and lectured extensively on surgical weight management and nutrition. Dr. Randall is one of the busiest and most experienced bariatric surgeons in the area, with over 5,000 surgical procedures performed in the field. Dr Randall is a member of several professional organizations that include the American Society for Bariatric Surgeons.
