Hallmark Health works to identify the health care needs of the communities we serve and to help people gain the tools and knowledge they need to make healthy choices and lead healthy lives. Community Services in particular offers a variety of educational programs that support individuals and families in these efforts. In addition to a wide variety of programs focusing on basic health concerns, we also offer creative approaches targeting the specific health concerns of some of our most vulnerable populations such as women, children and the elderly including:
- Family Education including pre- and post-natal education, family support programs and babysitting;
- First aid and Safety including comprehensive CPR and First Aid education and training for individuals, providers, and the community at large;
- Multi-site Women, Infants and Children (W.I.C.) nutritional support program;
- The North Suburban Family Network which offers child and parent playgroups, parenting workshops, classes and support groups.
As part of our responsibility to the communities we serve, Community Services is dedicated to the development and implementation of public health promotion, education, management and treatment programs targeting the health concerns of our constituents.
Hallmark Health is pleased to be a recipient of the Connecting Consumers to Care grant from the BCBS Foundation to provides outreach and counseling to members of the community on issues that effect access to health care. For more information on the BCBS Foundation, please click here.
