Community Health Education
Take charge of your health…and your family's!
The Community Health Education program is committed to giving families the necessary information to live healthier, more productive lives by offering a variety of educational opportunities. Our classes are conducted by clinical staff, certified childbirth, CPR and First Aid instructors and other credentialed educators on a variety of topics aimed at promoting community safety, health and wellness. To fit your busy schedule, classes are offered throughout the year, including evenings and weekends.
Learn more about healthy pregnancy and raising healthy families through courses and seminars that provide pre- and post-natal health and childbirth education. Our prenatal education courses include childbirth education, parenting including classes for dads, infant care, breast-feeding, anesthesiology, and sibling adjustment classes.
Our safety education courses are taught by American Heart Association certified instructors and focus on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and some First Aid instruction training courses. These courses are designed to give community residents the skills necessary to help save lives. Other courses, such as babysitting basics, promote wellness and safety awareness.
Our women's health lectures are designed to promote health and wellness in women of all ages.
