Hallmark Health Medical Associates welcomes new breast surgeon

Aug. 30, 2012 – Hallmark Health Medical Associates, which is affiliated with Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford and Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, is pleased to announce that Diana Caragacianu, MD, a breast surgeon, has joined the group.

Dr. Caragacianu, board-certified in general surgery, recently completed several years of advanced education and medical training in surgical oncology with a specialty in cancer-related breast surgery earning a fellowship in breast surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a fellowship program in surgical oncology from the National Cancer Institute. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University and was an intern in general surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Caragacianu completed her residency in general surgery at Brown University. She also received advanced training in the field of surgical ultrasound from the American College of Surgeons.
