Network offers employers 10 percent in premium savings without reducing benefits or coverage
Hallmark Health System, which includes Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford and Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, announced today that it is a member of Harvard Pilgrim’s new Focus Network – MA. The network includes the highest quality, most cost effective hospitals in the state and is designed to offer employers a savings of up to 10 percent on premiums compared to HPHC’s full network plans. Focus Network – MA is the broadest defined network in Massachusetts.
“By including providers that are of the highest quality and cost efficiency, like Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford and Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, we will bring real cost savings and lower premiums to the market without reducing benefits and coverage or shifting the cost to the consumer, “ said Harvard Pilgrim President and CEO Eric Schultz.
Hallmark Health System is one of the most technology advanced community health systems North of Boston. In addition to their two acute care hospital, the system also the Hallmark Health Medical Center for outpatient care in Reading, the Hallmark Health System Hematology and Oncology Center and Comprehensive Breast Center in Stoneham and a VNA and Hospice.
Focus Network – MA members will be able to use online tools or personal assistance when selecting a primary care provider and will have access to health and wellness online tools and resources to support positive health outcomes.
The plan is now available to employers in Massachusetts.
