Hallmark Health System offers new Intensive Outpatient Program
Dec. 3, 2012 – Hallmark Health System is pleased to announce the expansion of its behavioral health services to include a new Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) on the campus of Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford.
The IOP is a short-term, mental health treatment program for people with symptoms such as depression and anxiety that interfere with their day-to-day lives. The program offers a comfortable setting where comprehensive treatment is available from a team of professionals and the support of peers.
The schedule is flexible and based on individual treatment needs. Most people attend three hours per day for three days per week and complete the program in two or three weeks. The structured program includes group psychotherapy, medication evaluation as well as individual and family therapy. The IOP program will help clients learn to manage symptoms and promote recovery. Specialized services for adults and older adults are available.
