Sept. 29, 2009- Hallmark Health System’s Melrose-Wakefield Hospital is participating in a joint venture with Emerson Hospital, Lowell General Hospital, Winchester Hospital and Massachusetts Citizens for Children to present “An Evening with Dr. Harvey Karp,” America’s most-read pediatrician. The event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 6 to 8 p.m., at Westford Regency Inn in Westford.

Aug. 28, 2009- Hallmark Health System is pleased to announce that the Lawrence Memorial/Regis College Nursing Program has been chosen as a model for a new nursing program in Egypt.

The local nursing program was selected out of hundreds of nursing programs throughout the country by the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development in Egypt. The two organizations will partner over the next five years to establish the Gouna Nursing Institute, a two-year nursing program in Gouna, Egypt that will be a replica of the Lawrence Memorial/Regis College Nursing Program.
