MELROSE, MA - May 27, 2009- Hallmark Health System is pleased to announce that Nancy Gaden, RN, MS has joined the health care organization as vice president for patient care services and chief nursing officer.

Gaden, a resident of Milton, has 25 years of nursing experience in both teaching and community hospitals. She has spent the last 20 years in nursing leadership, serving as chief nursing officer at Milton Hospital, South Shore Hospital and most recently at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center.

MELROSE, MA - May 7 2009- To better accommodate the diagnostic imaging needs of patients throughout the region, Hallmark Health System has expanded its list of imaging services with the addition of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the breast at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Breast MRI is available on the hospital's new GE 1.5T Excite HD MR system, which delivers highly detailed images of the human body with increased speed and better resolution. With this latest addition patients throughout the region now have easier and more convenient access to the most sophisticated technologies available for the detection and treatment of breast disease.

MELROSE, MA - April 27, 2009- Hallmark Health System announces the new Diabetes and Endocrinology Center at Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford will host a series of educational forums, beginning this spring.

The forums, which are free and open to the public, will kick off on Wednesday, May 20, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Johnson Conference Room at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, 170 Governors Ave. in Medford.
