Dawn Fusi is director of Psychiatric Nursing at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. Ms. Fusi is responsible for oversight of operations within the acute psychiatric unit. As part of her responsibilities, Ms. Fusi provides training and supervision of the clinical psychiatric staff, develops and implements policies relating to psychiatric care and coordinates care policies with other hospital services.
Ms. Fusi functions in a consultative role within Hallmark and has recently played an integral role in the development of the Workplace Violence Prevention Program.
Ms. Fusi received her BSN from the University of Massachusetts and her Masters in Science in Adult Mental Health Nursing from Northeastern University. She is Board Certified as a Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, and has practiced in both the public and private sector prior to coming to Melrose-Wakefield.
Ms. Fusi is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. She also belongs to the Massachusetts Organization of Nurse Executives and participates on the Government Affairs Committee.
