Physical Therapy services help our patients recover from injury, surgery, or disabling condition. We deliver top-quality care through a personalized program designed to restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health.
To achieve this goal, our highly trained, licensed, and experienced therapists evaluate patient needs, determine therapy objectives, and build an ideal treatment plan to improve how individuals function at work and at home.
Through muscle strengthening, flexibility, and/or pain management, we focus our services to help patients:
- restore joint function and mobility
- increase muscle strength
- decrease pain and inflammation
- improve flexibility, coordination, and endurance
- prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities
- resume normal activities
- return to sports as tolerated.
Our goal is to help each and every patient achieve his or her desired level of activity. Hallmark Health's unique approach combines patient-focused care with the most advanced equipment and highly trained therapists.
The initial appointment consists of a one-on-one evaluation to discuss patient goals and therapy goals. The physical therapist will prescribe a course of treatment and oversee the patient's therapy and progress.
Treatments may include a tailored combination of therapeutic exercises, soft tissue massage, manual therapy, passive range of motion, and joint mobilization in addition to modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, moist heat, paraffin, iontophoresis, and ice. Where appropriate for specific patients, physical therapists will also show patients how to use assistive devices such as crutches, braces, and wheelchairs.
Our therapists provide expert treatments as well as ongoing education and emotional support to alleviate patient concerns and foster a climate of healing. By maintaining a strong and open patient-therapist relationship, our physical therapists can continually assess and update the treatment plan. Once the patient and therapist have achieved their goals, the therapist can recommend a program for the patient to follow at home.
Patients have a lot of choices when it comes to selecting a physical therapy provider. While you will need a physician prescription for insurance coverage, you can choose your own provider and the rehabilitation services that are right for you.
We provide the most highly trained and committed staff, a full range of diagnostic and treatment facilities, and several convenient locations to enable us to provide treatment at all levels. But don't just take our word for it - here's what other people have said about our services:
"I appreciate the time my therapist took to really look at my entire body rather than just the painful area. My PT always goes above and beyond to really find the root of the problem. I appreciate all that she did for me."
"Thank you for being such fine professionals. My rehab was successful because of you."
"The staff has me way ahead of any of my expectations. Great therapy."
