Family Education classes are conducted by clinical staff, certified childbirth, CPR and First Aid instructors and other credentialed educators on a variety of topics aimed at promoting community safety, health and wellness.
Our prenatal education courses include yoga-based prenatal exercise groups, childbirth education, parenting, infant care, breast-feeding, anesthesiology, partner massage and sibling adjustment classes.
Our safety education courses focus on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid instruction and training courses for community residents, lay and health care workers. Other courses, such as babysitting basics, promote wellness and safety awareness.
Located within the Community Services division of Hallmark Health, Family Education programs are an integral component to a three-pronged service line which also includes: the North Suburban Family Network and Women, Infants and Children (WIC). These programs have been part of the core services available to families for the past 17 years at Hallmark Health and provide a perfect compliment to Hallmark Health systems’ comprehensive system of care.
