Twitter is a social networking site that enables people to stay connected and updated through the exchange of quick and frequent updates. Twitter allows our followers to know what we are doing at Hallmark Health without having to view our website. Following Hallmark Health will allow you to know what is going on throughout our healthcare system, which includes events, job postings, safety and emergency alerts, health management tips and other important topics.

How It Works

There are many ways to view these updates called ' tweets. ' You can have them sent to your email, phone or just log on to http://twitter.com/hallmarkhealth. If you would like to become a follower, keep in mind you do need to set up an account, however it is free and easy to use! Using Twitter to follow Hallmark Health will keep you informed with everything currently happening at the hospital.

Getting Started

To get started, follow these easy steps to set up your twitter account.


1. Access twitter.com

2. Click the large green button saying, “Get started-Join!”

3. The person handling the twitter account will:

  • Enter full name
  • Create a username:
  • Password
  • Email (Which should be checked daily)


4. Twitter will ask you if you want to import all the contacts from your email address. If you do not want to, you can click “skip this step” and it will continue on.

5. Next, twitter automatically selects a number of users to follow. Simply click “skip this step”.

6. You will now be on the home page. There is a box in which you can “tweet” by simply adding an update. *Each tweet must be less than 140 characters.

7. Once created, you can view your settings, which is on the top navigation bar. Under settings you can make a default image, bio, location, notifications, and design of the page.

Once you have joined Twitter, to start following Hallmark Health simply follow these steps:

1. Enter http://twitter.com/hallmarkhealth in the address bar.

2. Click on the word "follow" on the left hand side under our logo.

3. You will now be following Hallmark Health.

How it works


To view our videos you can go to our home page on YouTube. You do not need an account to watch our videos! The link to our channel is http://www.youtube.com/hallmarkhealth. If you would like to subscribe to our channel you will than need to make an account.

To make an account:


1. Log on to www.YouTube.com
2. Sign on the top right hand corner.
3. The person handling the YouTube account will:

  • Choose a username
  • Location
  • Zip code
  • Date of birth
  • Gender

You will then be required to use an existing Gmail account or create one. Once this is made you will then be logged onto the main YouTube page.
