Advantages for the Patient

Three Magnets: Open Hitachi Airis II for claustrophobic patients; as well as two GE 1.5T Signa Infinity with Excite high field magnet.

On-Site Radiologist: Radiologists are on-site each day to ensure proper patient care and expedite reports.

Convenient Hours: Patients are scanned seven days a week. Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Two Accessible Locations with Ample Parking: The CHEM Center is conveniently located off Routes I-93 and 128 on Montvale Avenue in Stoneham with plenty of free, on site parking. Melrose Wakefield Hospital is located at 585 Lebannon Street, Melrose, MA.

Patient Comfort: We offer you a non-stressful, attractive environment. The Center's highly trained technologists are patient-oriented and skilled at handling patient concerns. The technologists are registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist and certified in MRI.

Rapid Results: Reports are available within 24 hours to your physician.
