First Aid and Safety

Our safety education courses are taught by American Heart Association certified instructors and focus on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid instruction and training courses. These courses are designed to give community residents, both lay and health care workers, skills necessary to help save lives.

Other courses, such as babysitting basics, promote wellness and safety awareness. The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in any educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the Association.

Insurance reimbursement or scholarships may be available. Talk to your insurance provider for coverage details.
