David Harnett, MD, System Medical Director of Behavioral Health Services of Hallmark Health was recently recognized by the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society with a Presidential Award in recognition of his dedication and service.
Dr. Harnett was recognized for his longstanding service as Chair of the Geriatric Psychiatry Committee of the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society. In this role he has provided expert testimony at the State House, mentored members in training, and helped educate the community on the mental health needs of older adults.
Dr. Harnett recently launched a new service, The Center for Healthy Minds at Hallmark Health System, which provides outpatient geriatric psychiatry evaluation and treatment.
