The goal of the program, which is based in Wakefield, is to help staff members develop skills that are consistent with the philosophical approach taught by the Alzheimer’s Association. Each attendee of the 12-hour program had to pass a written test and upon completion was awarded a certificate recognizing their accomplishment. The Dutton Center plans to offer this training program to family members of Dutton Center clients as well as the community at large. Training dates will be announced.
