Our highly-skilled emergency physicians and nurses have the most up-to-date equipment at their fingertips to help diagnose and begin treatment immediately including advanced diagnostic cardiac testing and radiology and most recent medications. And our emergency team works with our board-certified cardiologists to offer expert cardiac care.

Backed by a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory, Melrose-Wakefield Hospital is the only area hospital with emergency angioplasty services. In conjunction with Massachusetts General Hospital, our doctors perform this life-saving procedure that opens blocked arteries and limits heart damage.

The emergency team at Lawrence Memorial Hospital includes top-notch cardiologists available on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
