In a continued effort to support the education of its staff, Hallmark Health presented a group of deserving employees with scholarships to help them get one step closer to achieving their academic goals.
The scholarships were given out in conjunction with the Partners In Care Award, an annual event that honors members of the nursing staff for their exemplary teamwork with nursing in the provision of quality patient care. This year the award recognized Case Management at Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford and Risk Management at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
At the event, the Physician Colleague of the Year award was also given to Laurence Conway, MD. Dr. Conway is the first physician to be honored with this award, which was organized by the Clinical Practice Council, made up of nurses from both hospitals. The award recognizes Dr. Conway for his commitment to community, compassionate care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
