Cancer Support Groups and Programs

The Cancer Center offers support groups and educational programs to help patients and their families cope with their cancer treatment and their side effects, and provide periodic programs sponsored by the American Cancer Society including:

Look Good…Feel Better - this free non-medical, national public service program helps women in various stages of treatment offset appearance-related changes and side effects.

I Can Cope - is an educational program for people facing cancer - either personally, or as a friend or family caregiver. I Can Cope offers reliable information, peer support, and practical coping skills patients can use immediately.

A general cancer support group meets at the Cancer Center. This group is open to men and women from the community. You do not have to be under treatment at our Center. This program is open to everyone. Registration is required.

Please call (781) 224-5872 to register for a support group or for more information about a program or support group. You can also visit our 'Events Calendar'.
