Hallmark Health System is pleased to announce that Tara Gibson of Wakefield, Gail Infurna of Melrose and Robert Weinstein, MD, of Brookline have been named to its Board of Trustees.

“We are pleased to welcome Tara Gibson, Gail Infurna and Dr. Robert Weinstein to our board,” said James Herrington, chairman of the Hallmark Health System, Inc. Board of Trustees. “They have each distinguished themselves in their professional lives and contributions to the community. Together they bring a valued variety of skills and extensive experience to our board.”

Tara Gibson, RPLU, CPCU, ARe, is vice president of risk management at Coverys, where she manages the creation and execution of patient safety and risk management strategies for policyholders, including physicians, practice groups, hospitals and other health care facilities. She has also served as senior manager and manager in the underwriting department.

Ms. Gibson is a graduate of Rider University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. She holds designations as a Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU), a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and an Associate in Reinsurance (ARe). She is a licensed Massachusetts Property and Casualty Broker and holds non-resident licenses throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic states.

Gail Infurna is the admission/marketing director at EPOCH Senior Healthcare of Melrose, where she reviews referrals for admission, admits and builds relationships with residents and their families and markets the facility through community involvement. Prior to her current position, she was a registered nurse at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Ms. Infurna has served on the Melrose Board of Aldermen, representing Ward 5, since 1998. She served as the Board of Aldermen president in 2006 and has also served on the Melrose Traffic Commission, the Master Plan Committee and the School Building Committee. She is a graduate of the Malden Hospital School of Nursing.

Robert Weinstein, MD, is a practicing physician at Hallmark Health. He currently serves the Hallmark Health Physician Hospital Organization as a medical director, a member of the board of directors and chairman of the quality subcommittee chairman. He is president of the Lawrence Organization Independent Physicians Organization and Lawrence Melrose Medical Electronic Record (LMMER) Inc.

Dr. Weinstein graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and then the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He completed his medical residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, and fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Lahey Clinic and New England Deaconess Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine.
