Babin, a resident of Medford, has been with Hallmark Health for close to 30 years and currently works as a cashier in the Food Services Department at Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford. He has been recognized by so many of his co-workers for his compassion and his ability to make people smile. Babin is enthusiastic and most importantly provides excellent customer service to each and every customer he meets.
Babin also regularly volunteers his DJ services to special Hallmark Health events including the annual Stride for Health walk. He represents what is good about Hallmark Health.
The employee of the year is chosen by Hallmark Health’s Rewards and Recognition Team, a group of employees charged with developing and implementing recognition programs to ensure deserving employees are recognized. The team reviewed the nominations of the 12 exemplary employees that had been chosen as employee of the month throughout the year. Ultimately the Rewards and Recognition Team selected Babin because of his commitment to service excellence and ensuring Hallmark Health continues to be the region’s system of choice.
The employee of the year announcement was made by Michael V. Sack, president and CEO of Hallmark Health, during a reception on Jan. 19 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
