Dr. Brown was honored alongside other longtime Hallmark Health physicians at the Medical Staff’s Annual Meeting, which was held at the Sheraton Colonial Hotel in Wakefield in June. Physicians were honored at the event for their significant years of dedicated care to their patients and their service towards improving the quality of healthcare in the area.

Guest speakers for the evening included Michael V. Sack, president and chief executive officer of Hallmark Health, William Doherty, MD, system vice president and chief medical officer of Hallmark Health, and Donna West, chairman of Hallmark Health’s Board of Trustees.

Dr. Brown’s office is located at 282 Winthrop St. in Medford in the same space his father, a primary care physician, practiced in for nearly 20 years. He graduated from Medford High School as valedictorian before going onto to Tufts University, where he received his Bachelor of Science summa cum laude as well as his medical doctor (MD) degrees. Dr. Brown is still in active practice and accepting new patients.

Dr. Brown’s professional memberships include the American Medical Association, Massachusetts Medical Society and Middlesex South District of the Massachusetts Medical Society. He has held various leadership positions in these organizations and others during his career including the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology, New England Dermatology Society and Knights of Pythias Fraternal Organization. Dr. Brown also taught at Tufts University Medical School for approximately 20 years.
