This FREE 6-session Chronic Pain Self-Management Program (CPSMP) can help you learn to manage pain so that you can get on living a satisfying and fulfilling life. Open to adults of all ages who have a primary diagnosis of pain or care for people who do.
Learn strategies developed and tested by researchers including ways to:
- Deal with problems such as frustration, fatigue, isolation and poor sleep
- Exercise appropriately to maintain strength, flexibility and endurance
- Use medications appropriately
- Communicate effectively with family, friends and health professionals
- Eat healthy
- Pace activities and rest
- Evaluate new treatments
