The Patient and Family Advisory Council at Hallmark Health System (HHS) serves to strengthen community relations with local cities and towns and provides valuable input from local residents on area health needs. The council also provides an independent community perspective to help HHS enhance patient services throughout the system.

The council thus far has offered suggestions on a number of service enhancement initiatives such as the introduction of quiet times in patient care areas, the new Urgent Care Center at Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford and the recent renovations and improvements at both hospitals.

In the coming year, the Council will assist HHS to strengthen collaborations around meeting the divergent health needs of the HHS communities and to provide input into the planning of future Community activities and initiatives.
